Exclusive: Bill Simmons to Produce Multi-Part Docuseries About the Boston Celtics for Max

Plus, Christina Wayne is rumored to be out at MBC Studios, and WB's new 'Furiosa' trailer looks awesome.

It’s Tuesday night, and I’m rushing off to the Grove to see the new Ghostbusters movie and stuff some pretzel bites into my face — and I’m not sure which one is my true motivation!

Last night, I saw the new Sydney Sweeney movie Immaculate, but that’s not the movie I want to talk to you about tonight. No, I need to warn you about another movie featuring Sweeney — Madame Web — which is every bit as bad as you’ve heard.

I have no idea what the producers of Madame Web were thinking, but I watched it when I got home last night and it was a painful slog — one of those generic superhero movies that has no real reason to exist. I’ll spare it any more negativity, as the critics have piled on enough, but suffice to say, it was well deserved. Sweeney will be fine; it’s Dakota Johnson who I’m hoping recovers.

In tonight’s newsletter, you’ll read about Bill Simmons, Travis Kelce, Christine Wayne, Bill Weinstein, Ryan Coogler, David Chase, Popeye the Sailor Man, and Furiosa.
