Happy Tuesday, folks! I hope everyone enjoyed Presidents Day, and savored having Joe Biden in office, for who knows how many of us will be happy with the President next year…
I had a great weekend, sneaking in a few hours of basketball before the rain returned on Sunday night. The BAFTAs happened, and Cillian Murphy predictably beat Paul Giamatti on his home turf, while Rachel Zegler beat out guys like Keanu Reeves and Tom Cruise for Action Movie Star of the Year at the People’s Choice Awards. OK, then!
Last night, a friend brought over some Jon & Vinny’s and we looked into adding audio to this newsletter (it’s coming soon, I swear!), and this morning, I saw Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two, which is a much better film than its predecessor, featuring some truly exciting performances from its young stars. I’ll post a full review once the embargo lifts.
