Happy Monday, everyone! I hope everyone had a good time watching the NCAA tourney this weekend and that your brackets aren’t too busted after the first two rounds.
I spent this weekend mainlining movies, watching Doug Liman’s Road House again and Rowdy Herrington’s 1989 original starring Patrick Swayze, which I had somehow never seen. I also watched David Lynch’s Wild at Heart for the very first time — it wasn’t for me — along with Stanley Kubrick’s boxing noir Killer’s Kiss and Herrington’s 1993 serial killer thriller Striking Distance starring Bruce Willis. It was a guilty pleasure that minded me how much I miss seeing that guy on the big screen…
