Exclusive: Reality TV Icon Gabby Windey Joins Molly Gordon, Emma Mackey in A24 Comedy 'Peaked'

Happy Friday, folks!

This week, caught up with the Peacock series All Her Fault, which was a quick binge, but mostly empty calories. As compulsively watchable as the series was, the whole thing was a little too ridiculous for my taste.

Speaking of ridiculous, albeit in a good way, Paramount releases Johannes Roberts’ horror movie Primate into the wild tonight, and let me tell you, this movie is bananas! I kinda loved it.

Sure, the characters aren’t particularly bright, and I thought much of David Poland’s review was fair, but I had a blast with this gory movie, which features some memorable kills. Plus, Roberts’ suspenseful direction compensates for the wafer-thin script.

If you’re going to see a killer ape movie, you want to see the ape kill some people, and Primate more than delivers in that regard. It plays like a modern-day Cujo, and I had a blast with it. Dumb and fun, it’s the perfect January release…
