Exclusive: Glen Powell to Star in Untitled Firefighter Movie from Director Ron Howard, Amazon MGM Studios

Happy Monday, folks!

I made it back to Boston safely and had a lovely Father’s Day with my old man and the rest of the family, including my two adorable nieces. I’ve already been to one rain-soaked soccer game and one 2.5-hour dance recital, so I’m officially in the running for Uncle of the Year.

Last night, I held Trailer Time: Summer Edition for the Sneider family, and going by their reactions, I’d say that Hollywood is in for a long summer. I showed them 90+ minutes worth of movie trailers, and there were only a few that stirred excitement — namely Weapons, the HBO series Task, and 28 Years Later, which I’m pumped to see later this week, though I’m a little nervous about Sony’s decision to embargo reviews until Wednesday, which is a rarely a sign of confidence.

I’ll be back with more tomorrow, but since it was a fairly slow news day today, you’re just getting one story tonight. Having said that… it’s a hot one!
