Robert Redford, A-List Movie Star, Oscar-Winning Director, and Sundance Film Festival Founder, Dies at 89
Plus, my review of the new Netflix series 'Black Rabbit' starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman, and thoughts on the trailer for Lionsgate's domestic thriller 'The Housemaid.'

Happy Tuesday, folks!
Last night, I saw Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, which I’ll weigh in on tomorrow, and then I came home and watched Pete Davidson’s horror movie The Home, which played like a weak ripoff of Get Out. You can safely skip that one — sorry, Pete!
This evening, I plan to binge the new Claire Danes-Matthew Rhys series The Beast in Me, though I likely won’t be able to say anything about that one until November.
Tonight, you’ll read my attempt at a tribute to Robert Redford, as well as my review of Netflix’s new limited series Black Rabbit starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman.
I also offer my thoughts on Charlize Theron’s new cyber thriller, the latest additions to Jeremy Saulnier’s new A24 thriller, the holiday pitch under Netflix’s Christmas tree, the Baby Reindeer star joining Angelina Jolie’s latest indie film, American High’s move down south, and the trailer for Paul Feig’s Lionsgate thriller The Housemaid starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried.
